Immediate need for prn/per diem Labor and Delivery RN's in Beaumont, Texas. Flexible scheduling with no shift requirement. Payment per shift ($60/hr) initiated within 72 hours of clock out.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages, including monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rates, and contractions.
• Administer medications and interventions such as epidurals or other pain management techniques in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols..
• The L&D department consist of LDRs, triage and ORs. Labor and delivery nurses provide care to triage patients, antepartum patients, labor and delivery, transition, circulating C-sections, and recovery. Patients recover for 2 hours minimum on L&D, then transfer to the post partum unit.Mid-to-high risk levels of care include Magnesium therapy. TOLAC, previas, preeclampsia, HTN, GDM, PPROM

Qualifications

• Valid RN license with current registration in the state of Texas
• BLS, ACLS, NRP and Stable required.
