Radiology Technologist - 12-week block of shifts in Excelsior Springs, MO

Pay: 60.00/hr

Schedule

End of November for approximately 10–12 weeks due to a maternity leave.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 pm. Candidate would need to be comfortable and competent in X-ray, surgery, and CT.

Requirements

• ARRT registered and qualified in CT plus 1+additional board certification or 3+ qualifications
• Must be competent in Radiology, CT, and Surgery- surgeries would be hip replacement, knee replacement, simulators, pain clinic with pain injections, and ports
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association
• 2 years Radiology Technologist experience preferred
• Experience with orthopedics is a plus.
• Knowledge of radiation equipment, including the maintenance and care of equipment.
• Applies principles of radiation protection.
• Maintains documentation, reports, and files according to facility policy.
• Calculates and regulates equipment using established technique, knowledge and skill.
• Knows and practices the principles and procedures of sterile technique.
• Sets up and operates radiation equipment in operating/procedure rooms.
• Assists physician with imaging procedures.
