MedCurate is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for prn opportunity in Overland Park, KS - $38/hr

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supports the delivery of occupational therapy services by performing components of therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, in alignment with established occupational therapy practices. The COTA is responsible for implementing therapeutic treatment plans, assisting patients in developing, recovering, and maintaining essential daily living, recreational, and work skills, and accurately documenting patient progress. The role serves a diverse patient population, ranging from young adults (18+) to geriatric individuals, addressing rehabilitation needs and conditions requiring therapy interventions. Additionally, the COTA records patient responses to treatment and communicates outcomes and observations to the supervising Occupational Therapist to ensure optimal patient care and progress.

Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant,
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is prefered
